The Intermediate ERP Business Analyst will play a strategic role in shaping, defining, and supporting ERP-enabled business solutions across multiple clients and internal initiatives. The position requires a strong balance between
business analysis discipline

, with exposure across the full ERP solution lifecycle.

While prior experience with
Odoo ERP
is advantageous, the role is
not platform-dependent
. Candidates with strong experience across mainstream ERP platforms and a deep understanding of enterprise business processes will be well-suited.

The role further requires measured involvement in
solution definition, pre-engagement analysis, and client-facing activities
, particularly where structured documentation, solution rationale, and business value articulation are required

• R33 000-R50 000 per month, depending on experience, ERP exposure, and client-facing capability.

• Lead business analysis activities across ERP-driven business processes.
• Elicit, analyse, and structure business requirements through stakeholder workshops, interviews, and process reviews.
• Develop current-state and future-state process models aligned to ERP best practices.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical, system-aligned improvements.

• Translate business requirements into clear, implementable functional specifications.
• Collaborate with technical teams to validate solution approaches and ensure functional alignment.
• Support functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and solution validation activities.
• Assist with solution stabilisation, optimisation, and enhancement initiatives post-implementation.

• Engage directly with clients to understand operational challenges and strategic objectives.
• Contribute to solution recommendations that balance business needs, system capability, and implementation effort.
• Support client decision-making through structured analysis, documented options, and impact assessments.
• Maintain a professional, consultative presence across client interactions.

• Provide structured input into ERP-related tenders, proposals and formal submissions
• Contribute to solution descriptions, scope definitions, assumptions, and functional narratives required for tenders.
• Assist with analysing tender requirements and mapping them to ERP capabilities and delivery approaches.
• Support internal teams by clarifying functional scope and feasibility during bid preparation.

• Support and, where required, coordinate functional testing activities
• Validate ERP solutions against documented business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure appropriate documentation standards are maintained for auditability and governance.
• Assist in ensuring solutions align with internal controls, approval structures, and compliance expectations.

Candidates must demonstrate solid understanding of ERP concepts, including:

• Finance and accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, budgeting)
• Procurement and supply chain workflows
• Sales, invoicing, and revenue processes
• Approval workflows and segregation of duties
• Multi-company and multi-currency environments
