A well-established group practice in Durban is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic mental health environment where client-centred, evidence-based care is central to service delivery.

Job type:
Permanent, On-site

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments
• Facilitate group therapy programmes
• Provide individual therapy sessions where clinically indicated
• Participate in patient meetings and care planning
• Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive clinical documentation
• Contribute to a therapeutic, recovery-oriented environment

• BSc Occupational Therapy (community service year completed)
• Minimum 7 years post–community service clinical experience
  , preferably in mental health and/or addiction settings
• Registered with HPCSA as an independent practitioner
• Active CPD compliance in line with HPCSA requirements
• INSTO PP / OTASA membership and valid Malpractice Insurance
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and responsibly in a complex clinical setting
• Experience working at a senior or autonomous level within multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to provide guidance, support, and informal mentorship to team members
