About the job Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse / PhlebotomistJob Purpose:
Correct collection, handling and transportation of samples for testing.
Assist with self-collection of samples. Assist with certain medical
procedures under supervision of a nurse or a doctor.
Perform point of care testing.
Qualification / Knowledge- Candidates to be fluent in Afrikaans
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Qualified Medical Technician in Phlebotomy
- Registered with HPCSA /SANC
- Valid drivers License (for use of company vehicle)
- Interpersonal relations (kc)
- Communication
Collection / Delivery of specimens, reports and other items
- Effective collection of specimens from various clients as per SOP
- Handle administrative duties and queries as appropriate
- Maintain safe and housekeeping standards in accordance with OHS Act
- Provide functional support in the department.
Quality Management
- Ensure the correct application for quality assurance processes in standard operating procedures.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
