Health & Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Manager to lead, implement, and continuously improve health and safety standards across the organisation. This role is critical in ensuring full legislative compliance while promoting a strong safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety policies, procedures, and systems

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and codes of practice

• Advise senior management on health and safety matters and legal obligations

• Promote and drive a positive health and safety culture across all levels of the organisation

• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety tours

• Maintain accurate health and safety records, reports, and documentation

• Maintain employee medical and occupational health records

• Identify health and safety training needs and coordinate relevant training initiatives

• Conduct employee health and safety inductions on site

Requirements

• A recognized Health and Safety qualification (essential)

• 3–5 years’ experience in a health and safety role

• Construction industry experience will be highly advantageous

• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements

• Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to work independently and influence safety practices across teams
