Minimum Requirements
- B.Com / CIMA / CA (SA).
- Minimum 5 years experience in finance and accounting.
- Advanced financial analysis and planning skills.
- Advanced understanding of GAAP and the Sarbanes‑Oxley Act.
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance schemes and risk controls.
- Proven experience preparing and analysing general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- US‑GAAP reporting knowledge, an added advantage.
- Manufacturing cost accounting experience (pref.).
- Experience with JD Edwards ERP and / or One Stream (pref.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, accounting systems, and financial software.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide sound recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Manage financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure full SOX and audit compliance across the business.
- Investigate budget variances and partner with leadership on corrective actions.
- Oversee management accounting and company performance reporting.
- Support regional management and the controller in setting business direction.
- Prepare monthly forecasts in collaboration with sales, operations, marketing, and finance.
- Plan and perform internal audits and co‑ordinate external audits.
- Manage annual audits, stock takes, and inventory valuations.
- Oversee general accounting functions including GL, payroll, AR, and AP.
- Maintain compliance of accounting systems with regulatory requirements.
- Manage working capital to ensure healthy cash flow and alignment with budgets.
- Establish and oversee the product and inventory database.
- Review profit tax assessments and supporting schedules.

- Play a key role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making.
- Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with exposure to Global reporting standards.
