THE PURPOSE OF THIS JOB AND AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsible for all accounting functions for alliances, factories and centres on a daily basis. This entails preparation of accounts, financial planning and budgeting, reporting of budget variances, cost control and cost analysis programmes. In addition compiles, maintains and reports on Company’s financial and accounting data for these operations. Reconciles Alliance stocks and sales and initiates payment.

MAJOR TASKS TO ACHIEVE OBJECTIVE/S ABOVE

Preparation of Management Accounts

Financial planning and modelling, budgeting, forecasting

Stock Reconciliations

Property Management

Payments

Assistance with company taxes including but limited to Income Tax, VAT, Carbon Tax, Royalty Tax, SARS e-filing.

Assistance with company insurance:
Assistance with preparation of Annual insurance renewals, motor insurance claims and related insurance claims.

Year End Audits

Act as a bank signatory and the monitoring of cash

Other duties and adhoc exercises
