We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our finance team.

The Assistant Controller will work closely with the finance team to support the day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and budgeting processes. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with up to 3 years of experience looking to advance their career in accounting and finance. The role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to a range of financial operations.

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Assist with budget preparation, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Review and maintain general ledger entries, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
• Help monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with payroll and tax-related tasks.
• Assist in internal audits, tax compliance, and other regulatory filings.
• Support the Controller in improving financial processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

• A maximum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software (experience with accounting software is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.

• Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Quick Books).
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
