BI Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Qlikview/Power

BI Specialist to join our team in Durban on a 3-month basis, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance modelling and proficiency in developing dashboards using software tools such as Qlik View and Power

BI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models to support various business operations and decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable financial models and dashboards.
• Design, build, and implement interactive dashboards using Qlik View and Power
  
  BI to visualize key financial metrics and trends.
• Perform data analysis to identify insights and trends, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within financial models and dashboards by implementing proper validation and verification procedures.
• Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize financial models and dashboards.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in finance modelling and data visualization technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in finance modelling, with at least 5+ of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in using software tools such as Qlik View and Power
  
  BI to develop interactive dashboards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
