Cashier – Hirsch’s Springfield

Responsible for handling cash and attending to all customers at the cash desk in a friendly and professional as well as timeous manner.

• All ad hoc administration duties in the department (scanning, filing, answering telephone etc.)
• Receive and process all payments according to standard procedures
• Full function of vouchers and loyalty cards (redeeming & selling)
• Scan all relevant paperwork to e-docs and relevant parties
• Scanning of blue copies, extended warranties, job cards, GRN’s, GRS’s and recons
• Understanding of Linux system.
• Daily Reconciliation of all payments.
• Customer service and satisfaction.
• Accurate capturing and handling of cash.

• Grade 12 / Matric

• Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ experience in a same or similar role

• Employer to contribute 3% of basic salary towards Liberty provident fund.

• Must have a proven track record as a cashier
