Technical Sales Consultant – Mechanical Projects

Lovemore Bros (Pty) Ltd, a leader in heavy lifting and mechanical solutions, is seeking a driven and competent Technical Sales Consultant to join our Mechanical Projects Division in Durban.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, and providing technical sales support from initial enquiry through to successful project handover.

• Must be based in Durban / Kwa Zulu-Natal
• University Degree (preferred) or Diploma in a relevant Technical Field
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to various sites
• Basic knowledge of mobile cranes
• Understanding of mechanical relocations and rigging operations
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of work

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Mechanical Projects Division
• Engage with and manage relationships with new and existing clients
• Assess mechanical and rigging enquiries to determine the most effective and efficient execution methods
• Prepare accurate costings and submit professional quotations
• Allocate the most suitable resources for awarded projects
• Ensure a smooth handover from sales to project execution teams
• Collaborate with management to support strategic growth within the industry
• Ensure the highest standards of safety are achieved and maintained at all times
• Achieve monthly sales targets
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills
