, with a unified approach ensuring a consistent standard of excellence in teaching, learning, and student support.

• Auditing 2

• Preparation, conducting of lectures, tutorials and workshops;
• Providing study guidance, learning support, consultation and mentoring of students;
• Initiation and development of module materials, including online and web-based materials;
• Marking and grading of student assessments;
• A range of administrative functions connected to the discipline and modules being taught;

Ideal:

• Chartered Accountant OR
• Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) OR
• Honours /post-graduate qualification in External Auditing.

Alternatively:

• NQF level 9 qualification in External Auditing.

• Lecturing experience in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing or Taxation is preferable.
• Completed training contract at a registered firm of Chartered Accountants.

• Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role
• Positions are part-time
  , with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00.
• Must reside in Durban (All classes take place on Campus)
• Applicants must be available to lecture for 2
  -3 days (business hours) within a week for the duration of the semester.
