AECOM is seeking a Senior Architect (DATA Centres) to be based in South Africa's Enterprise Capabilities office in Durban
. The position supports a local team and global partners, offering a flexible hybrid work arrangement that balances office and out‑of‑office schedules.

Here is what you will be doing:
The Senior Architect serves as a fully capable professional in an architectural design team. The role plans, budgets, schedules, organizes, coordinates, and executes design work on small to medium scale projects or distinct portions of larger projects, with regular interaction with an associate or designated senior team member.

• Architectural Design, Manage BIM Model and Drawing production (Design Brief compliance, completeness & accuracy)
• Design coordination within Architecture & Cross Discipline
• Design coordination within Engineering & Cross Discipline
• Design Delivery (Design Brief compliance, coordination, completeness & accuracy)
• Guiding and managing team & junior staff, client engagement, team leadership, value engineering, mentoring

• B.Arch or BSc Architecture
• 8+ years of postgraduate experience
• Professionally registered as an Architect with SACAP
