We are looking for a Conceptual Designer who blends creative vision with technical expertise to craft visually compelling, digitally optimised content. This role requires strong conceptual thinking, mastery of design and multimedia tools, and a deep understanding of digital formats, platform requirements, and production workflows. The ideal candidate will also leverage local cultural insights to ensure relevance and impact.
Responsibilities- Lead the conceptual development and execution of digitally led creative ideas across social media, influencer campaigns, and activations.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and Copywriter to ensure design aligns with strategic objectives and brand identity.
- Oversee technical aspects of multimedia asset creation, including motion graphics, video editing, responsive layouts, and platform-specific adaptations.
- Stay ahead of digital design trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation.
- Ensure all visual outputs meet quality standards and technical specifications for digital platforms.
- Apply local cultural insights and audience understanding to create visually relevant and impactful content.
- Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual design and technical execution for digital-first campaigns.
- Expertise in software (Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, etc.).
- Solid understanding of digital production workflows, responsive design, and optimization for social platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of local insights and cultural nuances.
- Must be based in Durban.
