Job Description

As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective utilisation of our teams to meet business objectives. You will assist the RM team with onboarding all freelance hires from initial contact, contracts, timesheets and invoicing. You will assist in developing workforce planning strategies, forecasting staffing needs, and optimising resource allocation to improve operational efficiency. Collaborating closely with our capabilities, you will align workforce strategies with company goals, contribute to a positive work environment, and support the overall success of the organisation.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include
  • Assist the Resource Management team in identifying, assessing, and hiring freelance candidates to fill open positions.
  • Document processes for freelance sign-off & set-up.
  • Help new freelance employees to get set up & integrate into the organisation.
  • Regularly assess staffing needs using workload analysis & projections to anticipate future demand and optimise resource allocation.
  • Track and report workforce metrics to leadership, highlighting areas for improvement and talent management risks.
  • Work with department managers, HR, and other team members to understand staffing requirements and build a unified approach to workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify skill gaps and develop targeted upskilling initiatives aligned with industry trends and company growth.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of workforce planning strategies aligned with short & long-term business goals.
  • Continuously assess and improve workforce planning processes to adapt to evolving needs and changing business requirements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in workforce planning.
  • Support the Resourcing Team in building a well-resourced, effective, and productive global team.
Qualifications
  • Well organised, able to manage multiple tasks and maintain complex workflows.
  • Attention to detail; consistently produces accurate, high-quality work by carefully checking information and identifying errors or inconsistencies.
  • Effective prioritisation under pressure, able to work to tight deadlines.
  • A “can-do” attitude; a positive thinker.
  • Problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Competent with GSuite (Docs, Sheets & Slides).
  • Culturally sensitive.
  • Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in French, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
