Job Summary
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Auditor to join our client's auditing team. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for planning and executing audits, reviewing work performed by junior auditors, and providing guidance to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing and accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with established audit standards and procedures
Review and analyze financial statements, internal controls, and accounting practices to identify areas of risk and recommend improvement
Prepare audit reports and present findings and recommendations to management
Lead and supervise audit teams, providing guidance and support to junior auditors
Monitor audit progress and ensure timely completion of assignments within budget
Stay current on regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices in auditing
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement audit strategies and initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (COMPLETED)
SAICA Articles (Signed Off)
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and internal controls
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software
