Full-time, Permanent Msuez Uk is a leading manufacturing company based in Durban, South Africa. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for the company. You will work closely with the accounting and finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

- Record day-to-day financial transactions in the company's accounting system - Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements - Reconcile bank statements and other financial records - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions - Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial reports - Monitor and manage cash flow and prepare cash flow projections - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions - Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in financial records - Communicate with clients and vendors regarding financial matters - Assist with the preparation of audit materials and support the audit process - Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting - Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures - Proficient in accounting software and MS Office - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred - Knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations is a plus We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
