Job DescriptionJob Purpose or Objective(s): As the Environmental Specialist 1, you will be responsible for monitoring the environment, identifying environmental issues, and recommending solutions to enhance the lives of those who live within the Choctaw Nation. You will report to the Environmental Compliance Officer/ Director.

Regular/Full-Time Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay Range: $67K-$84K
Primary Tasks:
Required
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science related field, or 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of education.
- Knowledge of environmental law, policies, and practices
- Environmental Certifications required (UST, LBP, asbestos, mold, SDWA)
- Strong organizational and research abilities.
- Ability to work solo as a collaborative team member along with the ability to organize, prioritize, and document.
- Seven (7) years of experience.
