Pay Range: $23.35-$25.15 | 100% Onsite | Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM

Job Purpose or Objective(s): As an Accounting Specialist, you will perform complex accounting responsibilities for the accounting department. You will report to the Fixed Assets Accounting Manager.

Primary Tasks:

• You will perform multiple analytics and review functions to ensure accounting accuracy.
• Help with monthly closing process.
• Compile reconciliations.
• You will conduct specialized research projects, reporting, and respond to inquiries.
• Process payables and receivables.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Associates degree in Accounting or Finance or 2 years related experience.
• Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions or conversions)
• Excellent oral or written communication skills
• Use Ten Key (by touch)
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Prior experience using of Microsoft Word and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
• Two years' directly related experience
