The role involves identifying training needs and creating effective learning materials, including manuals, workbooks, presentations, scripts, and audio‑visual aids.
The Certified Trainer II expands and enhances the training resources available to all departments, ensuring programs are relevant and impactful. Responsibilities include evaluating training effectiveness and employee progress, maintaining the training library, distributing materials, onboarding new hire groups, coordinating daily department operations, delegating tasks, and developing mentorship and leadership development programs for both operational and divisional staff.

The starting salary range for this position is $56,000.00–$62,000.00 per year.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
:
- Assist in overseeing, leading, and delegating department operations and assignments, maximizing productivity and efficiency of team members.
- Provide peer coaching, counseling, training, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Assist in department performance reviews and provide recommendations to the reporting manager.
- Develop and implement effective training policies, procedures, and programs.
- Create, develop, implement, and maintain independent training programs or projects for BSJ and its employees.
- Assist management in identifying BSJ training and development needs.
- Evaluate training programs and services; provide recommendations for improvement.
- Design and develop training procedures and programs; prepare audio‑visual aids, manuals, scripts, and workbooks.
- Serve as the primary trainer and point of contact for new hire employee groups during their initial training journey.
- Maintain regular contact with new hires outside scheduled sessions, providing support and additional learning materials.
- Prepare schedules, assignments, calendars, and other administrative on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Create, build, maintain, and conduct mentor, peer coaching, and leadership courses for division employees.
- Act as a supportive leader and extension of department management in the absence of senior managers.
- Conduct training sessions to ensure BSJ personnel are effective in their positions; deliver orientations, on‑job training, and in‑service activities as necessary.
- Create, maintain, update, and manage documentation, resources, and pages available through the division intranet.
- Maintain a Training Resources library and associated audio‑visual equipment.
- Coordinate and schedule training activities.
- Connect with department managers to identify training or support material needs.
- Complete training functions in accordance with established programs and procedures.
- Enhance leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills through self‑study and assigned programs; complete at least 24 hours of ongoing training annually.
- Complete required reports, records, and tracking documentation.
- Attend and participate in division and corporate meetings and committees as required.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with BSJ personnel and management.
- Represent BSJ in contacts with consultants and trade professionals.
- Resolve requests, questions, and problems courteously and professionally; ensure accurate and efficient communication.
- Assume branch management responsibilities when necessary, including physical building and staff oversight.
