Why This role Matters

As a Product Manager
, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for core platform capabilities that support our swine product portfolio. This is not a feature‑PM role; you will focus on shared services, data foundations, workflows, and extensibility that enable multiple customer‑facing products to scale reliably.

You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, data, domain experts, and customer‑facing teams, translating the realities of swine production into durable platform capabilities. Your decisions will directly impact development velocity, system scalability, and how effectively MTech serves producers around the world.

What You’ll Do (Job Summary)
  • Own the platform vision and roadmap for swine, aligned with product strategy and business objectives
  • Define and evolve shared capabilities such as data models, integrations, workflows, permissions, and configuration
  • Partner closely with Engineering to shape technical direction while balancing delivery, quality, and long‑term platform health
  • Work with Product Managers, Domain Experts, and Customer Success to understand downstream needs and translate them into platform requirements
  • Own the high‑level strategy and commercials
  • Prioritize work using customer impact, platform leverage, and technical risk
  • Define and track success metrics (e.g., adoption, performance, reliability, developer enablement)
  • Act as the connective tissue across teams aligning stakeholders, resolving tradeoffs, and maintaining clarity
  • Support go‑to‑market and rollout planning for platform changes that impact customers or internal teams
What You Bring (REQUIRED)
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with meaningful experience owning platform in supply chain or AgTech.
  • Experience building platforms in data‑intensive or SaaS environments
  • Proven track record of delivering software platforms used by multiple products or teams
  • Strong systems thinking comfortable reasoning about data flows, APIs, dependencies, and edge cases
  • Ability to translate complex technical and domain problems into clear, actionable requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with engineers, product peers, and business stakeholders
  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with Engineering leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Ideal candidate has the following NICE TO HAVE
  • Familiarity with agriculture, animal production, or vertically specialized B2B software
  • Experience working with cloud‑native architectures (Azure preferred)
  • Comfort partnering with Data, ML, or Analytics teams
  • Experience supporting products used in regulated, operationally critical environments
