Position overview:
Zarminali Pediatrics is seeking compassionate and dedicated advanced practice clinicians to join our inaugural Urgent Care team in Dunwoody, GA
. In this role, you will provide prompt, high-quality care to pediatric patients during evenings and weekends, addressing acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced setting. You will help deliver accessible, family-centered care and contribute to a welcoming environment for patients and families.
- Acute Pediatric Care:
Providing timely evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of non-emergent pediatric illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced urgent care setting - Clinical Decision Making:
Utilizing clinical judgement to determine appropriate interventions, diagnostic testing and follow-up plans for acute conditions - Family Centered Communication:
Educating patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and next steps with clarity and compassion - Documentation:
Ensuring thorough, timely, and accurate documentation of all patient encounters in accordance with clinical guidelines and regulatory standards - Collaboration:
Partnering with support staff to deliver efficient, coordinated and high-quality care with an emphasis on safety and experience
- Advanced practice clinician who is energized by the pace and impact of urgent care and wants to be part of something bigger
- Thrive in an environment that balances clinical independence with real-time support and teamwork
- Recognizes clinicians in urgent care as care providers, decision makers, communicators, and collaborators in high-pressure situations
- Goal is to deliver fast, effective, and compassionate care with the right tools and partnership
- Master’s in nursing or a related field, with certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current and unrestricted license to practice in Georgia
- Current and unrestricted Georgia DEA license
- Empathy towards patients, families, and caregivers
- At least 2 years of experience working in a pediatric or urgent care setting
- BLS/ACLS Certification
- Balanced schedule that rotates between 8-hour shifts. Shifts run Monday–Friday from 12am to 8pm, with every other weekend rotation on Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm, designed to support work-life balance while maintaining consistent hours
