Rotating Shifts (Monday – Friday)

06:00 – 14:00
13:45 – 23:45

Siamo Recruitment are working with a well-established, family run multinational business. We are seeking an experienced Packing Senior Operator to join their production team.

This is a hands-on leadership role, best suited to someone who is proactive, well organised and confident in leading small teams within a food production environment. You will support the day-to-day running of the packing department, maintain high quality and safety standards while ensuring production targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Packing Supervisor with daily production planning and packing operations.
Lead, motivate and develop a team of Packing Operators.
Ensure all health & safety and food safety checks are completed accurately and on time.
Maintain compliance with BRC, GMP and customer audit standards.
Monitor, record and communicate production data effectively.
Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency projects.
Manage yields, waste and departmental costs.
Deputise for the Packing Supervisor when required, including start-up and shutdown processes.

Essential Experience & Skills

Previous experience in a food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing environment.
Strong team leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
Confident with computer systems and production reporting.
Good understanding of food safety and health & safety practices.

Desirable Experience

Experience with BRC standards and customer audits.
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / process improvement.

Experience with stock control systems.
