SAP BTP Engineer

SAP BTP Engineer Reading based - four days per week on site £75-85,000  15 % bonus My client, a leading global manufacturing business based in Berkshire are actively looking for hands on technical integration engineer, to join their team. This is a newly created position and within this role you will take the lead on all things integration, across both SAP and Non-SAP systems.

Working closely with external partners you will develop and continue to drive key integrations and head up SAP migrations for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead integration and automation projects across SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., S/4

HANA, ECC, Sales Cloud, Workday). Define integration strategies and drive data migration and interface development. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions aligned with best practices in security, monitoring, and CI/CD. Provide technical leadership, perform code reviews, and mentor development teams. Document technical designs and solution architecture. Qualifications & Experiences

Required:

8 years of overall SAP experience, with at least 5  years in SAP BTP architecture and development. Deep expertise in SAP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration and API Management. Proficient in SAP Build Process Automation and application development using SAP BTP tools (CAP, RAP, UI5, Node.js, Java). Strong hands-on experience with CI-DS and SAP BODS for data integration and transformation. Experience integrating with S/4

HANA, ECC, and cloud-based SaaS solutions. Familiarity with ABAP (enhancements, function modules, OData services) is a strong advantage. Solid understanding of cloud architecture, security concepts, and Dev Ops practices in SAP environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
