SEMH Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Dunstable. SEMH Teaching Assistant

Dunstable

£460-£500 per week

• Provide support for pupils who may experience anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, low self‑esteem, behavioural challenges, trauma‑related and attachment needs, and social communication and interaction difficulties.
• Work closely with teachers, SEN and inclusion staff to provide 1:1 and small‑group support, help pupils manage emotions and behaviour positively, build resilience, confidence and self‑regulation skills, encourage positive relationships with peers and adults, support engagement in learning and classroom activities, and create a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment.

• Experience supporting SEMH or SEND pupils (desirable but not essential).
