We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Dunstable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and is looking to build a rewarding career in education and training.

Pay£460-£500 per week
Responsibilities- Provide support for pupils who may experience anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, low self‑esteem, behavioural challenges, trauma‑related and attachment needs, and social communication and interaction difficulties.
- Work closely with teachers, SEN and inclusion staff to provide 1:1 and small‑group support, help pupils manage emotions and behaviour positively, build resilience, confidence and self‑regulation skills, encourage positive relationships with peers and adults, support engagement in learning and classroom activities, and create a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- A caring, patient and reliable individual.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience supporting SEMH or SEND pupils (desirable but not essential).
- The ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
