- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and operational condition.
- Assist with facility improvements, installations, and capital projects as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas that enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability.
- Perform MIG/TIG/Stick welding, cutting, and metal fabrication for equipment repair and structural needs.
- Fabricate, modify, and repair metal components, guards, brackets, and structural supports.
- Inspect welds and fabricated components for quality, safety, and structural integrity.
- Repair or install fencing, platforms, handrails, and other metal structures.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motors, controls, sensors, and wiring.
- Install and maintain electrical components in accordance with NEC and facility standards.
- Support equipment upgrades, instrumentation improvements, and automation initiatives.
- Perform lockout/tagout and other electrical safety procedures.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and industry best practices.
- Participate in safety inspections, hazard identification, and corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation for maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of general maintenance experience; welding or electrical experience strongly preferred.
- Certification in welding or electrical trades is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to drive change, improve processes, and support a culture of continuous improvement.
