Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position at a short-term acute care hospital in North Carolina, requiring at least 2 years of MS/Tele experience and Epic proficiency.

Job Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting, MS/Tele unit on the 4th floor,

• Med/Surg Telemetry patient population with a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio,

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,

• Every other weekend required,

• No on-call requirements,

• Floating required within scope; candidates must be comfortable floating between two campus locations,

• Charting is done in Epic (experience required),

Job Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand - pending licenses not accepted,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele RN experience required,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• SSN and DOB required for consideration,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible,

• Royal blue and white scrubs required,

• Pre-start orientation modules must be completed prior to the start date (approximately 4-10 hours),

• RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general maximum of 4 days,

• Only 1 holiday can be approved for time off during the contract,

• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,

• Night shift travelers may extend up to two times before being required to be away for at least 6 months prior to returning,
