Due to a full order book we are now seeking to recruit for an experienced Spray Painter to join our innovative and dynamic team. As an important member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all components are prepared, sprayed and ready for production. - Prepare products to a high standard ahead of painting process.
- Carry out basic quality control checks.
- Maintain a clean and tidy works area and ensuring the safe operation of machinery within your area.
- Preparing and mixing of paint and primers to the correct consistency before use.
- Application and finish of paint using air assisted spraying equipment.
- Painting parts to a high quality.
- Working with single and 2‑pack paint.
- Daily maintenance checks of the spray gun and all paint equipment.
- Responsible for working in a team‑based environment working on a busy assembly line manufacturing ground support equipment.
- Working to set production targets and will need to have the ability to safely move production parts.
- Ideal candidates will have previous experience of working in an Automotive, workshop environment, but this is not essential.
- Experience in spray painting, removing decals and small touch ups.
