Group HSEQ Manager

A senior leadership role responsible for setting and governing Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards across a growing construction and manufacturing group. This position defines “what good looks like” while driving consistency, assurance and continuous improvement across sites, factory operations and offices.

• Develop and maintain the Group HSEQ strategy aligned with business objectives, legislation and best practice
• Own and govern the HSEQ management framework, including policies, procedures, standards and risk registers
• Set minimum health and safety standards across sites, factory, yard and office environments
• Provide expert HSEQ advice to Directors, Managers and project teams on high-risk and complex activities
• Lead quality governance, ensuring consistency from design through fabrication, installation and handover
• Oversee environmental and sustainability policies, controls and reporting requirements
• Define and manage HSEQ systems, procedures and digital tools for reporting, inspections and assurance
• Govern incident, near-miss and non-conformance reporting, investigation and corrective actions
• Develop and deliver the annual audit and inspection program across all operations
• Define training, competence and cultural initiatives to drive positive HSEQ behaviors
• Support bids, tenders, project mobilization and strategic business decisions with HSEQ input
• Provide clear, concise HSEQ performance reporting to senior leadership and the Board

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior HSEQ leadership role within construction, façades, manufacturing or similar environments
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality and environmental legislation and standards
• Experience managing integrated management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or equivalent)
• Demonstrated ability to influence and challenge at Director and senior management level
• Strong investigation, root cause analysis and action planning capability
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites and functions
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including Board-level reporting
• Practical, solutions-focused approach to implementing HSEQ requirements
