Overview
You will pride yourself on providing high‑quality, person‑centred care to our residents, fostering a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, and staff feel valued and supported. As part of our frontline team, you will play a pivotal role in the day‑to‑day operations of the Home, assisting with activities of daily living and ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of residents.
As a Care Assistant, you will also provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a sense of compassion; advocacy for the rights and preferences of our residents.
The role of the Domestic Assistant is essential in our mission to provide excellent care. Supporting the Housekeeper with the environment of the Home, the Domestic Assistant will contribute to the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. The Domestic Assistant will ensure that the Home is clean, tidy and welcoming at all times. The role works closely with the care teams and residents, building trusting relationships to create a comfortable environment where our residents feel safe and cared for.
From ensuring that rooms are clean to tidying communal areas, every task contributes to the value that we add to the lives of our residents.
- Ensure the expected cleanliness and hygiene standards are achieved throughout the home
- Cover domestic duties as assigned
- Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management
- Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule
- Use and store cleaning products in accordance to COSHH regulations
- Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper

- Relevant experience for the role
- The Right to Work in the UK
- Previous care home experience
- Basic knowledge of COSHH, Health and Safety and Fire Regulations
