HireIQ are delighted to be working with a long standing client as they hire for a Finance Manager. Our client is a leading business and you will be based in the Tyrone area.
Now is a great time to join their team as they look to further add to their finance function. This is an ideal role for a Qualified Accountant who is 1-3 years post qualified & keen to take their step up in their career!
Responsibilities- Overseeing accounts department, ensuring all ledgers are up to date and records maintained accurately and in compliance with accounting regulations.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to include ledger review, journal entry, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Liaising with other members of the management team, to support & challenge financial outcomes, in line with the strategic goals of the Company.
- Production of annual budgets and forecasts and liaising with the Senior Management team on major capex purchases.
- Continuous improvement of financial controls & processes.
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and management of small-medium scale projects.
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll
- Daily bank administration including bank reconciliation, payment processing and cash flow forecasting.
- Engaging with external auditors
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience using Sage 50 Payroll or similar payroll packages.
- Strong IT skills particularly Microsoft Excel
- Industry Experience is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
- Possess excellent attention to detail, problem solving and organisational skills.
