Continous Improvement Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting engineering-led improvement projects aimed at increasing manufacturing efficiency, throughput, and capacity
• Analysing existing production processes and implementing engineering solutions aligned with the company's manufacturing systems strategy
• Developing and standardising quality assurance procedures, specifications, and control plans to ensure repeatable, high-quality output
• Working cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, design, and supply chain teams to resolve complex production and quality issues
• Identifying, justifying, and implementing process changes using data-driven and structured problem-solving methodologies
• Driving best practice in manufacturing engineering, benchmarking both internally and externally
• Embedding a "right-first-time" engineering culture through process control, standard work, and accountability
• Supporting the development of an organisation-wide continuous improvement framework
• Applying systematic problem-solving tools to address output, rework, and quality defects within manufacturing
• Delivering hands-on coaching and training to shop floor personnel on new processes, tooling, and improvement methodologies
• Supporting production teams with engineering input to resolve build issues, deviations, and non-conformances
• Maintaining awareness of emerging manufacturing technologies, lean tools, and efficiency-driven engineering approaches
• Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management Systems
• Operating in full compliance with company health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised engineering and production environment

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum of 3 years  experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Industrial Engineering within a production environment
• Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving techniques
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and assembly methods
• Proven ability to analyse production data and translate findings into practical engineering improvements
• Experience managing engineering or improvement projects from concept through implementation
• Strong working knowledge of quality systems, process control, and standardisation
