OverviewWe are looking for a Project Coordinator to take the lead in ensuring the day‑to‑day project management of our network construction projects, including supporting scope and schedule management, risk and issue management, budget control and resource management.
Responsibilities- Engaging with the management team and key stakeholders to ensure progress reporting is kept accurate at all times
- A strong understanding of programme and works scheduled
- Highlighting early warning of planned changes to forecast
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation – ensuring documents are updated and maintained
- Interpreting narrative, taking notes at project update meetings and collating information from department managers and summarising for the programme team
- Data analysis – reviewing quantities and forecasts, gaining an understanding for what it means per department and cascading this across the Programme and Build teams
- Generating sound reporting, including creating data charts and narrative to support
- Understanding and identifying risk, supporting management in the development of detail for reporting
- Ensuring full visibility of activity and risks across all areas of the project
- Attendance at meetings to represent the programme department and gain updates for the programme of delivery from various departments
- Effective communication of updated programme schedules
- Adherence to all Health and Safety practices
- Providing support to management as required
- Proven track record in coordinating projects, strong administration skills, and advanced IT skills
- Experience of planning projects effectively
- Strong scheduling experience and administrative background
- Ability to successfully manage relationships with internal and external facing stakeholders
- High-level of IT literacy, proficient user of Microsoft Office tools
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in the Telecommunications sector (desirable)
