An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Buyer to join a long-established, privately owned engineering and infrastructure company. This role goes beyond transactional purchasing - you'll play a key part in cost control, supplier performance and stock optimisation, with genuine scope to progress towards Procurement Management.

• High-impact role influencing cost control and operational efficiency.
• Structured working hours with early Friday finish.

• Lead day-to-day purchasing activity, managing suppliers and securing best value.
• Oversee stock control and replenishment to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Analyse purchasing and inventory data to drive improvements and mitigate supply risks.
• Work closely with operational and finance teams to support project delivery and margin control.

• 3-5 years' experience in procurement / buying (minimum 3 years in a buying role).
• Strong systems capability with confidence using ERP platforms and analysing data.
• Commercially astute, detail-focused and comfortable working cross-functionally.
• Experience with in engineering, construction or heavy industry environments desirable.
