Material Planner​/Expeditor

Escape Recruitment is partnering with an established manufacturer experiencing significant growth, to recruit a hands-on Material Planner / Expeditor for their manufacturing site.

In this role, you will work closely with key suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time to support production schedules in a fast-paced Just-In-Time (JIT) environment. You will be part of the Purchasing team, keeping the production line running smoothly and efficiently.

The Role:

Interpret MRP/ERP outputs to create, adjust and expedite purchase orders
Be the first point of contact for operational matters with suppliers
Resolve delays, shortages and invoice queries
Schedule production parts to meet daily demand
Maintain stock levels and organise materials to minimise waste

Experience and knowledge required for the role

* Experience as a Material Planner, Expeditor, or Buyer in a manufacturing/engineering environment

* ERP/MRP system experience

* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

* Team player who can also work independently

* Positive, professional approach with excellent communication skills
