Lead the future of shipbuilding with Babcock. At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Production Manager at our Rosyth site.
Responsibilities- Managing front‑line managers and driving daily business performance
- Chairing planning meetings with stakeholders to align priorities
- Reviewing and adjusting build plans to meet delivery targets
- Overseeing volumetrics throughout the build programme
- Collaborating with subcontract managers to mitigate downtime
- Knowledge of shipbuilding processes
- Ability to interpret shipbuilding, piping, and mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with zone working and modern outfitting methods
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project scheduling
- Time‑served trade background
- ONC/HNC preferred but not essential
- Recognised safety training (e.g., IOSH, working at height, confined space)
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
