Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is seeking an experienced LPN with home health and OASIS proficiency for a day-shift home health assignment requiring reliable transportation.

Job Details

• Position based in a home health setting,

• Serves adult patients with medical, post-op, and high-risk diagnoses including heart failure, COPD, MI, pneumonia, and stroke,

• Performs skilled home visits, typically 6-8 per day,

• Day shifts with self-scheduling options to meet office needs including possible Mon-Fri or Thurs-Mon schedules and alternating weekends,

• Utilizes laptop, MiFi, and portable printer for documentation,

• Documentation systems include Bay Care Forms, Bay Care Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet,

Job Requirements

• Active LPN or LVN license required if applicable,

• Minimum 1 year of skilled home care experience,

• Must have current BCLS certification,

• Experience with OASIS assessments required,

• Proficiency in IV therapy, wound care, and post-op care,

• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle required,

• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required,

• Must have flu vaccination or submit declination form, with mandatory mask use if declined,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include cardiopulmonary assessment, wound care, compression and wound vac dressings, Pleurx/Asept drain care, foley catheter management, staple/suture removal, glucometer and pro-time machine use, SQ/IM injections, lab draws, IV skills, PICC/Midline care, and port access,

• Self-scheduling allows for flexibility to meet personal and agency needs,

• Any solid color scrubs may be worn,

• Local candidates accepted at the same compensation rate,

• Mandatory mask use at all times if flu shot is declined,
