HGV Driver

Class 1 HGV Driver (Nights) – Join our Liverpool depot for night trunking to our pallet network hubs Monday – Friday.

All Class 1 HGV Drivers (Nights) are responsible for operating their vehicle efficiently, supervising loading/unloading, securing loads, and ensuring safety. You will be the company ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public. This is a full-time, permanent position with Monday‑to‑Friday hours, starting 17:30/18:30 for an approximate 12‑hour shift.

• Submit vehicle checks at least daily, noting any defects and ensuring safe and legal operation.
• Comply with all governing law and in‑house regulations and rules.
• Provide clear proof of delivery (POD) for each consignment.
• Communicate professional and constructive updates to the traffic office regarding any issues and accidents.

You hold a full UK driving licence with Category C+E entitlement and a current/valid CPC. Previous experience in a similar role is preferable but not essential; we offer a thorough induction for the right candidate. Excellent communication skills, courteous and professional manner, and a commitment to keeping the vehicle safe, clean, and tidy are required. An ADR licence is desirable.
