Labourer, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor, General Labor

Overview

Scotfast operates across the UK, carrying out large scale fencing and civil projects. Due to expansion, we are looking to employ hardworking, motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role you will be responsible for performing all aspects of general labouring duties across multiple sites.

• Take direction from managers, supervisors and team leaders.
• Assist the team with carrying out tasks for the day, showing a willingness to learn and take control of designated tasks.
• Load materials onto trailers/vehicles, read job cards, recognise material descriptions and keep accurate counts for team leaders/managers.
• Work away from home on projects on a weekly basis with paid accommodation and a daily stay-away allowance.
• Operate various types of equipment and machinery.
• Meet the physical requirements of the job, such as lifting heavy loads.
• Assist contractors and tradespeople on the worksite.
• Clean up and prepare the job site for the following work day.
• Complete all training requirements.

• At least 1 year of previous Labouring experience preferred.
• A valid Driving Licence required.
• A valid CSCS required.
• Must be able to make your own way to the yard near Inchture and be willing to work Monday through Friday at sites across the UK.
