MJM is currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters to work at Heathrow Airport on a long-term basis.

You'll be part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining the mechanical integrity of Heathrow's critical infrastructure—keeping systems running efficiently in one of the world's busiest airports.

As a Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter based at Heathrow, you will be responsible for maintaining automated systems to ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, and equipment availability.

Your duties will include:

• Maintaining automated systems to a high operational standard
• Carrying out fault‑finding, reactive repairs, and planned preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth system performance

• Proven experience installing and maintaining industrial‑sized systems (airport, logistics, or manufacturing environments)
• Recognised mechanical qualification - City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or higher)
• Valid CSCS Card – essential
• Flexible to work a rotating schedule of days, nights, and weekends
• Strong fault‑finding skills and a proactive, safety‑first mindset

• Experience in a similar setting, manufacturing, industrial, or automated environment
• A 5‑year checkable work history, required for Airside pass clearance
