Overview
Connect Appointments are recruiting a Senior Maintenance Electrician to join our manufacturing client within the Dundee and Angus area
.
This is a full-time permanent position
, working either a three or four shift rotation
; with a salary of 40,000 (three shift) or 43,000 (four shift) per annum.
Three shifts across days, backs and nights
; paid annually at 40,000 per year.
- Week 1:
Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11pm (Back Shift
1) - Week 2:
Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm (Day Shift
1) - Week 3:
Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm (Day Shift
2) - Week 4:
Monday to Friday, 4pm to 12am (Back Shift
2) - Week 5:
Sunday to Thursday, 12am to 8am (Night Shift)
There will be an on-call arrangement for this shift pattern between midnight on Friday to midnight on Sunday - this will be covered by the employee working Week 4 (back shift
2) - so you will be on call one weekend in every five.
Four shifts working 4-on 4-off across days and nights
; paid annually at 43,000 per annum.
- X2 days, working 8am to 8pm
- X2 nights, working 8pm to 8am
- Liaison with shift engineers to ensure work is done
- Organising work to be done on a shift-by-shift basis - prioritising where required
- Installation of plant and machinery
- Conducting preventative maintenance work
- Dealing with breakdowns (troubleshooting, repairing, reporting)
- Carrying out portable appliance testing
- Ensuring Health & Safety at all costs
- Time served engineer (either mechanical or electrical) and educated to a HNC/C&G level
- Have additional training in opposite discipline (mechanical or electrical)
- Have the ability to work using your own initiative
- Have working knowledge of Electrical Regulations
- Have effective communication skills
