You will have LLB Degree in Scots Law and Diploma in Legal Practice.

You will assist in the provision of all legal and associated services to the Council, its Committees, Services, staff and, where appropriate, to any organisation in which the Council has an interest. This will include work relating to conveyancing, contracts, statutory orders and procedures and planning.

You will have completed your legal traineeship and have good basic experience in relevant areas of work. You will have good oral and written communication skills. You will also have organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage and motivate others. You will be willing to undertake appropriate job related training if required and you will also be flexible and adaptable to change.

A Level 2 - Standard Disclosure Scotland Check is required.
