NHS Tayside has recently developed its Digital Strategy, and at the heart of this lies an ambition to develop a modern Electronic Patient Record (EPR). This is an exciting time to join NHS Tayside Digital Directorate as the Development Services Team will be key to many developments in this new strategy.
What we are looking for:We are seeking an experienced agile business analyst to join our Software Development Scrum Teams. Candidates should have experience of working in a technical setting, be familiar with all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, and adept at applying an agile mindset to all areas of their work.
Candidates should have knowledge and capabilities in the following areas:
- Experience of working in an agile (preferably Scrum) environment
- Competence in application of best practice business analysis processes, tools and techniques
- Ability to support (or fulfil) Product Owner responsibilities, including creating user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, while maintaining a prioritised backlog, ensuring continual alignment with the product vision and business strategy
- Business value and customer focussed, with ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
- Strong consultative approach with effective communication skills to facilitate collaborative working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
This role will include the above but is not restricted to these responsibilities.
What we will give you:- The postholder will have a degree of autonomy within their role, reporting to the Development Team Leaders. Training relevant to the role will be provided, with opportunities for professional development within the wider directorate.
- This is a permanent, full-time post within the Digital Directorate, based in the Mac Kenzie Building, Ninewells Hospital Campus. As we aim to provide an environment that encourages work/life balance, flexible working arrangements may be considered.
