An excellent opportunity for an experienced SOX Programme Manager to lead and coordinate a complex SOX compliance programme within a large-scale technology environment. This role requires strong stakeholder leadership, structured programme oversight, and the ability to ensure control owners are accountable and audit-ready.

With a broad landscape of systems and stakeholders in scope, this individual will play a critical role in driving alignment across technology, finance, and operational teams, ensuring controls are understood, evidenced, and operating effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the end-to-end SOX programme across technology and business control owners.
  • Act as the central point of accountability for SOX delivery, ensuring milestones, testing timelines, and audit requirements are met.
  • Engage directly with control owners to ensure responsibilities are clearly understood and executed.
  • Track control performance, evidence submission, remediation progress, and testing readiness.
  • Proactively identify delivery risks and drive mitigation plans across stakeholder groups.
  • Facilitate regular governance forums, steering updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure consistency in documentation, reporting, and audit artefact quality.
  • Work closely with Internal Audit and external auditors to align on scope, testing plans, and expectations.

  • Drive continuous improvement in programme structure, reporting, and compliance processes.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of SOX compliance, IT General Controls , and financial reporting controls.
  • Demonstrable experience managing senior stakeholders and influencing control owners.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to engage technical teams, finance stakeholders, and auditors with equal confidence.
  • Strong governance and reporting capability, with experience tracking programme-level risks and dependencies.
