The NDN is funded by the Chief Scientist Office and supports the delivery of clinical trials in dementia and neurodegenerative diseases. The role involves close collaboration with Investigators, the Clinical Research Facility, other Network staff and clinical teams across inpatient, outpatient and primary care settings. You will also develop innovative strategies to ensure recruitment targets are met on time.

Experience of working with people living with neuroprogressive conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, dementia or motor neurone disease, and familiarity with clinical research procedures would be advantageous, but full training and support will be provided. Applicants should have an understanding of research within the NHS, post-registration clinical experience and evidence of professional development. You will need excellent organisational and IT skills and the ability to work to achieve study targets.

This post offers an excellent opportunity to develop new clinical skills and gain experience in the management and delivery of clinical trials.
