PositionThe Audiology department is seeking to recruit to a post in our administrative team. This team covers a wide ranging and varied administrative workload required to support audiology to ensure safe and efficient running of the department. The role provides comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently, working in accordance with standard operating procedures and deputising for the Office Manager and the Paediatric Secretary in their absence.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day administration including dealing with incoming calls, emails and face-to-face requests from our patient group, other health professionals and third-party sectors.
QualificationsRelevant experience working in administration in the NHS. Comfortable using NHS IT systems. High levels of initiative, working well with other members of the team you work within. Good oral and written communication and customer care skills and can communicate well on the telephone.
Working Hours18 hours per week, 8am - 5.30pm Thursdays and Fridays.
