Management Accountant – Dundee

Up to £55,000 per annum

Temporary Contract – Hybrid Role – 6 Months

Nicholas Hendry has been engaged by a well‑known, Dundee‑based business to source an experienced Management Accountant who is immediately available and keen to join a successful, international SME business on a temporary basis (envisioned to be circa six months) during a period of growth and an increase in project work.

This is an essential role for the organisation and will directly support the management of all the business’s financial functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support to the Dundee site, preparing financial reports, managing cashflow & forecasting, month‑end management accounts & business partnering with site management.

• Provide financial support to the Dundee site, preparing financial reports.
• Manage cashflow, forecasting and month‑end management accounts.
• Business partner with site management.
• Assist in variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and month‑end reporting.

• Previous experience of working with Senior Finance Leaders in the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and reporting.
• Assisting with site forecasting, operational reporting and providing financial information to both internal and external stakeholders as required.
• Experience with variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and month‑end reporting.
• Management accounts & VAT returns.
• Qualified with ICAS, ACCA or CIMA, or a Qualified by Experience & Part‑Qualified individual.
