About the RoleJoin our Power Commercial team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor. You will play a key role in delivering complex, high‑value infrastructure projects that support the UK's transition to Net Zero. This position will be based in Dundee and is part of the ASTI project.
Responsibilities- Manage costs and identify commercial risks and opportunities for infrastructure projects.
- Deliver varied commercial duties, including procurement and supply‑chain management.
- Optimise commercial performance through cost control and value‑for‑money opportunities, while meeting required standards.
- Create and maintain commercial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Administer contracts with clients and subcontractors.
- Support and adhere to the Gated Business Lifecycle processes.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Drive personal and professional development, including professional certification.
- Commercially manage a large infrastructure project or a portfolio of smaller projects.
- BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
- Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB (or working toward one).
- Experience with NEC contracts (NEC3 & NEC4).
- Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, achievement focus, business and customer awareness.
- Ability to recognise customer needs, opportunities and threats.
- Competitive salary.
- 37.5 hours per week (Mon–Fri).
