• GTCS Registered (Secondary), with a knowledge of the relevant curriculum area.
• Awareness of the main current issues in Scottish education.
• Professional learning evidence and knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and the new National Qualifications structure.
• Positive, caring approach and commitment to young people, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer being made by Dundee City Council.

• Deliver quality education to assigned pupils.
• Contribute, within the collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school.
