• GTCS Registered (Primary/Secondary/ASN) with knowledge of the relevant curriculum area and awareness of the main current issues in Scottish education.

• Deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute, within the collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school.
• Demonstrate application and knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence as well as the new National Qualifications structure, and evidence of appropriate Professional Learning. Show a positive and caring approach, commitment to young people, good communication/interpersonal skills and relate well to others.
• This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment by Dundee City Council.
