Tay Cities Circular Economy Strategy and Action Plan

This is a rare opportunity to shape a high‑profile regional programme, coordinate meaningful partnerships, and support innovative circular projects that deliver real economic and environmental impact across Tayside.
What you'll be doing:- Leading delivery of the region’s Circular Economy Strategy & Action Plan
- Relaunching and growing Circular Tayside as a cross‑sector collaboration platform
- Building strong relationships with business, public sector, academia and third‑sector partners
- Developing programme plans, reporting progress and meeting milestone commitments
- Showcasing success stories and raising the profile of circular economy innovation
- Driving forward new project opportunities and supporting stakeholders to take action
- Experience in programme or project coordination, ideally with multiple partners
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
- Ability to manage work streams, deliver outcomes and meet reporting deadlines
- Interest in circular economy, sustainability or net‑zero transition
- A confident collaborator who can bring people together to make things happen
Circular Tayside is evolving into a bold, region‑wide programme designed to accelerate the shift to a more circular, resilient local economy. You’ll be at the centre of that transformation—helping to unlock opportunities, build momentum and turn great ideas into practical action.
Essential Experience &Skills:
- Fixed-term to July 2027 (project funded)
- Based across Dundee, Angus & Perthshire, with flexible working
- Demonstrated experience in programme or project coordination involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong relationship‑building skills across public, private and third sector audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing reports, briefings and content for different audiences.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams, deadlines and reporting cycles.
- Understanding (or clear interest in developing understanding) of circular economy principles and net zero agendas.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, facilitation or partnership development.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office tools and digital platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
